And you're absolutely on target that the 4-bolt versus 5-bolt turbo decision is key right now. Looking at the compressor map (only) it seems I might be pushing this turbo consistently to an overflow condition. My gut tells me running the turbo this hard consistently both jeopardizes life (i.e. reliability) and limits any future potential through the efficiency compromises running the compressor consistently to an overflow condition. Financially maybe this compromise is worthwhile to achieve my goals. This question has been considered countless times by gearheads with way more experience than me. I'm just looking for today's opinions. First off, am I looking at the right map?
